Project Management:
New Camp Administration Building
I was fortunate to do much of the project management as well as production and conceptual work for the new administration and multipurpose building at a summer camp for children with terminal or longterm illnesses. I created drawings and renderings from conceptual design through construction drawings, attended weekly OAC meetings, coordinated with clients and consultants, reviewed shop drawings, and performed construction administration. The building is mixed-use with residential units on the upper level, offices and observatory on the ground floor, and assembly and activity space on the lower level. We worked with the client to ensure the project schedule had minimal impact on camp activities. I’m proud to have been able to work on this project and to continue to support the camp with design and planning services.
Deck Remodel
The client wanted to replace water-damaged deck and balcony structures with more durable construction and finishes, as well as comply with new wildfire regulations. We proposed a stone in-floor heated deck supported by CMU and stone columns as well as rigorous waterproofing and flashing. I performed client meetings, site visits, conceptual and construction drawings. I also coordinated with consultants and navigated DRB proceedings to complete the project successfully.
Addition & Exterior Update
The client wanted to add an additional bedroom to a lock-off unit as well as update the exterior cladding and fenestration. We proposed new siding and roof finishes as well as wire guard rails for decks. I created conceptual and construction drawings. I coordinated with the client and consultants to complete this two-phase project.
